Touring

Taigh Tindill being centrally located to the connected islands of the Uists is the best place in the Outer Hebrides for day touring. Easy day excursions via ferry can be made to visit Barra to the south, and Harris/Lewis to the north. This means should you wish, it’s perfectly possible to be sea kayaking off Barra on one day, and visiting the ancient Standing Stones at Callanish on Lewis the next.
