Comfortable and spacious 3-bedroom house with garden (sleeping upto 5) in Balivanich on the Isle of Benbecula. Centrally located within the Uists, Taigh Tindill is ideally situated for discovering the scenery, nature and wildlife that the Outer Hebrides have to offer. Super convenient, particularly for cyclists and walkers, the house is within walking distance of a wide range of local amenities - supermarket, restaurant, takeaway, bank, the bus, the airport, the beach - all around the corner!

Taigh Tindill is a home away from home, the ideal place to return to after a day's exploring or working. Fully equipped for self catering travellers, in addition we can supply catering services on request at an additional cost (inc. super fast broadband), the house has three comfortable bedrooms (all towels and bedding provided), a spacious eat in kitchen and a cosy lounge with satellite tv. There's also a fenced back garden with views over the surrounding countryside, the perfect place to relax on summer evenings!

The house can sleep from one to five guests. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and one single (sleeping five).

The area

The Isle of Benbecula is centrally located within the Uists and a great location from which to explore the southern Outer Hebrides (from Berneray to Eriskay and Barra beyond). Balivanich, the main island hub, has all the shops and services you would expect and is a handy stop off on the Hebridean Way walking and cycling routes - as well as being the location of Benbecula airport!

Benbecula is famous for its beautiful white sand beaches, its sea lochs and its associations with Bonnie Prince Charlie. For fantastic views of the whole archipelago climb Reuval, Benbecula's highest (and only!) hill. Alternatively take in a round at the island's 9-hole course. North and South Uist are both only a short drive away while longer day trips will take you to the Isles of Barra or Harris.
