Travelling to the Uists can be by air from Glasgow or Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.

Taxis and buses are available on the island. The house is within a minute's walk of the closest bus stop which is the spine route through the Outer Hebrides. The airport is also in walking distance. Being a very small village you are in walking distance of all the local amenities in Balivanich!
